At UPI Statement Cleaner, we understand the sensitivity of your financial data. Our tool is built on a "Privacy-First" architecture, ensuring that your bank statements are never uploaded to any server.

2. Local Browser Processing

All file parsing and data extraction occur locally within your web browser using JavaScript. Your files are processed in your device's memory and are destroyed as soon as you close the tab or refresh the page. We do not have access to your bank transactions, account numbers, or personal details.

3. Password-Protected PDFs

If your bank statement is password-protected, the decryption happens client-side. We do not store, log, or transmit any passwords entered into the prompt. The password is used solely by the browser's PDF engine to open the document locally.

4. Third-Party Libraries

We use industry-standard open-source libraries to power this tool:

PDF.js: For reading and rendering PDF documents.
SheetJS (XLSX): For generating the downloadable Excel file.

These libraries are loaded via secure CDNs and do not track your personal data.

This tool is provided "as-is" for convenience. While we strive for 100% accuracy, bank statement formats vary and can change without notice.
